Sergey Cherepanov

Sergey Cherepanov is relatively new to the pipe making world. He started just a few years ago but under the tutelage of Victor Yashtylov, Mikail Reyvagin, Sergey Ailarov he has progressed rapidly. His pipe exhibit all the care and craftsmanship we would expect from a 1st grade pipe maker. They are meticulously finished and are definitely in the North Baltic school of pipe making, though Sergey lives somewhat inland, just outside of Moscow. He uses top quality Italian briar and German ebonite rods. Each pipe is totally hand made.

What I find interesting about Sergey's pipe is that so many of his smooth rounded shapes balance perfectly when set down on flat surface. This is a very unusual and desirable characteristic in a pipe. I have no hesitation in recommending these pipes to any discriminating smoker.
